Taking the leap

There are basically two possible paths or courses of action when it comes to fear (and facing it). You can freeze, stay, chicken-out and let the fear posses you. Or you can take the leap.

Taking the leap implies a higher risk, of course. You could trip over and fall. You could fall and hit your head on the concrete. But then, if you didn’t take it, how would you know what are things on the other side like?

I say one’d better jump in, one’d better jump into the fog and take the [freaking] leap, rather than staring at the rest from the other side of the road.
